![]() I want to be able to lock my mouse to the VM for gaming and unlock it freely by using CTRL + ALT as intended without having any problems. When I "connect" my mouse using the VMWare UI, it completely locks my mouse out from doing anything on my Host OS (Windows 10), leaving me with ALT+F4 to be able to get my functionality back. I've even used the CTRL + G hotkey to try to lock it to the VM but it does nothing to fix the issue. This is a significant problem as menus are massive part of the game. I use Discord on my second display and I want to keep that on my Host OS. The mouse leaves the VM and goes to my second monitor and makes my POV look around at an extremely high rate after doing it (which is the really annoying part). I'm tried doing a crappy workaround where I have my monitor's UI "location" at the bottom right on my Host OS which fixes the mouse leaving the VM issue but retains the POV issue. VMware Workstation Player is a streamlined desktop virtualization application that runs another operating system on the same computer without rebooting. Now i'm having problems every time I'm in game and use my cursor (Using Build Menus, UIs, etc). Had some issues connecting to games earlier but that was fixed by changing the NAT type to bridged. I've been trying to use vmware workstation for gaming in Garry's Mod (windows 10).
